Fun and Easy Quest: Prince Ali Rescue

Difficulty: Easy
Items Needed: Rope, 10 Gold Points, Wig, Yellow Dye, Red berries, Bucket of water, Pot of Flour, Ashes, Pink Skirt, Three Beers, Soft Clay, Bronze Bar
Length: Long
Requirements: None
Description: HELP!! Prince Ali has been captured by Lady Keli! So now it is up to you to save him. Go on this amazing journey to save the prince from things like disguising your self as Lady Keli to Making an Imprint of a key! This journey may be long but you'll have to have the guts! So now the question is, DO YOU HAVE THE POWER? If your answer is no, then please feel free to STOP at this point... ha-ha Just Kidding! We both know that you are more then capable of completing this quest, so go on now!

Quest Instructions:

1.) To start the quest, speak with Hassan which is located in the Al Kharid Palace. He will then assign you to speak with Osman. He is located outside the Al Kharid Palace dressing as a spy.

2.) When you arrive to Osman, tell him that Hassan has sent you and that you will need instructions to complete the quest. Osman will tell you that Lady Keli is the person that has captured Prince Ali. He will also tell you that no other person can rescue him but you. He'll then explain to you that there are two main key things to do:

  • One of them is to make a disguise as Lady Keli.
  • The other is to make an imprint of the key to Prince Ali's Cell.

3.) If you had these items already when starting the quest, then you can skip this step.

Rope: You can buy some rope from Ned who is located in Draynor Village or you can also purchase some rope in any local general store. If you are looking to pick one up for free head to the front of the magic shop and fight the thief. The usually drop ropes. If you are buying at the general store then I think they sell them for twelve gold points. But I'm not sure. Or if you bring four extra balls of wool Ned can make you the rope.

10 Gold Points:
You will need this 10 Gold Points for traveling faster through the toll gate. It's for traveling faster. You can also use a Dueling Ring and/or a charged Amulet of Glory (if you're members) for even faster travel.

Wig: To get the wig you must first get three balls of wool. You can get them by using shears to shear the sheep. After that you must take the wool to a spinner. When you spin then you should have created balls of wool. After you get the balls of wool, you have to talk with Ned which is located in an empty shop located across the bank in Draynor Village. Then tell him that you would like him to make you a wig. Finally you have the wig! This is a great start to completing the Disguise! But you are not done yet...

Yellow Dye: Next, you will need to get some yellow dye. To get some yellow dye you would have to get two onions and five coins. After you get these items you would have to bring them back to Aggie. Aggie is located also in Draynor Village. She is known for making dyes.

Red Berries: Ahh... next you have come to the red, juicy red berries. Getting red berries is pretty easy. To pick them up for free, head up to the mining area by Varrock, there should some on the west side. Or if you are not close by to Varrock then you can purchase them in a food store just off the deck in Port Sarim. You should by them no more then ten gold points. Because that's just a rip-off!

Bucket of Water: To get a bucket of water. You must first purchase an Empty bucket. If you do not want to purchase one then you can find a lot of good places to pick them up for free. To purchase them head off to any general store. You should purchase them no more then five gold points! So do not get fooled! If you have any spare empty buckets in your bank now is a great time to get them! Okay, so you have the bucket now, what do you do? You take it, to any well or fountain then fill it up. One click will equal a full bucket of water. So I guess that's pretty easy.

Pot of Flour: Ok this step may take a little longer if you do not have the ingredients first so let's start with that. To successfully make a pot of flour you must have grain, and a pot. Pots are easily purchased in a local general store. You should by the pot no more the five gold points. Ok so once have the pot it is now time to get the grain. Go north- west of Lumbridge and you should arrive to the grain field. Then go ahead and pick up the grain. One would be just fine. And beside that you should see the wind mill. Go in there and tale the grain up to the third floor. Use the grain with the shoot and press the lever to operate the machine. Once you are finished with that go down all the way to the first floor. Then you must use the pot with the flour to empty the bin.

Ashes: Getting ashes are pretty easy. One way is by killing Imps. You might have to kill them a couple of times to get the ash but that's ok. Ever see some runescape users make a fire non-stop? Well this is where they come in handy once their logs have burned out completely that ashes should pop up. But the good thing is that you can get all the ashes you want because the set so many fires! Isn't that great? But if you don't see any one setting fires, then you can go ahead and set your own fire. Take any ax you have and grab your tinderbox. If you do not own then go ahead and buy it at any local general store. You should by them no more then eight gold points. Then out side the Varrock general store there should be some tree standing around. Cut it down and use the logs with your tinderbox. Wait for the ashes to pop up and there you have it! A nice fresh batch of Ash! Oh and also remember none of this should be new to you, if it is then we got a problem...

Pink Skirt: You can get a pink shirt at any local general store, but a great place to buy them would be the Cloths Shop located in Varrock. If there is no more stock in the cloths shop, then you can also buy it from someone. Please make a wise decision on buying the pink skirt, because some people like to go a little over board when selling an item so do not, and I repeat do NOT buy it for more then twenty five gold points, unless you like spending a lot of money.

Three Beers: getting bears is pretty easy too. If the Drunk Dwarf ever talks to you and gives you beer, then that's a good time to save them up cause you can get that for free. Or you can buy them at any local general store. But from my opinion I would have to say that, a great place to buy beers is at any bar that sells beer. A good location to buy them at would be at the Blue Moon Inn. The Blue Moon Inn, you would find located in Varrock. You should buy them no more then three gold points. Oh and also if you want to pick up beers for free then a good place to get them would be at a little house in barbarian village located west from the center of Varrock.

Soft Clay: The main way to get soft clay would be to mine clay in the mining area located south of Varrock. You can also locate it above the champion's guild. After mining some clay, take a bucket of water and use it with the clay. That should give you soft clay. If you do not feel like wasting time mining then making the clay, then you could also buy the soft clay from someone because it is tradable. You should not buy the soft clay for an unreasonable price. I would have to say that over thirty gold points would be an unreasonable price.

Bronze Bar: Finally, we get to the bronze bar! Well getting the bronze bar is pretty easy. All you have to do is head up to a mining site take any pickax with you. You then mine one copper ore and one tin ore. Once you have those head up to any smelting house. Also use the copper ore and the tin ore with the furnace. Now you should have successfully made a bronze bar. if for some reason it didn’t make it, mine two copper ores and two tin ores just in case, then take them up to the furnace. If you are looking for a furnace and there's not one near you a good thing to do would be teleport to home. Once you have done that, do not cross the bridge just head up north then you will see the furnace.

Head over to Draynor Village and find Leela Draynor Village City Guide illustrates the locations of Leela, Aggie, Ned, and Lady Keli. Tell her you are there to help her free the Prince Ali. She'll check what items you have and tell you what else you still need.

4.) Find Aggie which is located in Draynor village. She will make you the dye to dye your wig

5.) As soon as you get the dye pick up your three balls of wool to make your wig. And if you haven't got your rope yet then now is the time to use your extra four balls of wool to make the rope. Now once you have the wig, use the yellow dye and the wig. Finally! The disguise is complete.

6.) Head up and go talk to Lady Keli. Tell her that you heard of her, and that she is famous. Ask her what her latest plan is. Once she has answered you tell her she must have been very skillful. Then ask her if she's sure they won't let the prisoner out. At this time make sure you have the soft clay with you. Then ask her if you can see the key... then ask her if you can touch it for a moment. She should have given you the key. Once she gives you the key. You will then make an imprint of the key in the clay.

7.) Ok, so now you made the imprint. Go back to Osman in Al Kharid with the key imprint and a bronze bar, he'll tell you to pick up the key from Leela which is the Draynor Village spy.

8.) Head up to the house near Lady Keli and talk to the guard Joe, tell him you have a beer, fancy one? But be sure to right click on the beer first then use it with the guard because if you just click on it then you will drink the beer yourself. So trust me on this one because it happened to me. You'll then ask him if he wants another and automatically hand them to him; he will drink them and get drunk.

9.) Now that he is drunk he you will be able to get by him, without him noticing you. Now it is time to tie up Lady Keli. Use your key on the door and talk to Prince Ali. He will take the disguise. Now go back to Hassan and talk to him, Congratulations! You're now a friend of Al Kharid and can pass for free through the gates between Lumbridge and Al Kharid.

Rewards:

  • 1 Quest Point
  • 700 Gold Points
  • Permission to pass through the Al Kharid gate for free.

Runescape Armor

Armor is worn to help protect oneself from attacks. Different kinds of armor provide different amounts of protection, but no armor can protect you completely. Some armor can even have disadvantages. For example, metal armor conducts magical energy and makes magic based attacks stronger.

Anything lower than mithril is pretty much useless although low level free players can use them the bonuses are pretty bad.

Please note in this guide I have considered Full Armour to be 1 Full Helmet, 1 Platebody, 1 Platelegs and 1 Square Shield, with the obvious exception of dragon.

Runescape Rare Items

Rare items you say? Yep, it's true; there are items in Runescape that are very rare and worth millions of gold pieces. Take for example a few years back, when the good oldSanta Hats were dropped (believe it or not, I had a character back then). They were being dropped all over the place, and were only worth 30,000 GP each. Now look at them, going for millions!

There were also an abundance of other items dropped on special occasions, for example, Easter Eggs on Easter 2002, and the brilliant Scythe on Halloween 2003. Those were the days...

For the more recent players though, there isn't going to be a chance to obtain a very valuable item anymore and be able to sell it a few years later. That's because Jagex have changed the way these holiday items are given out, and I don't think they'll carry the same value now as they have been made non-tradeable etc.

(Gosh, this reminds me, I need to figure out the username to my character with the Scythe!)

There isn't much more to say about Runescape Rare Items really, so here's a little FAQ:

Q: Will there still be holiday item drops?
A: There aren't item 'drops' exactly. Instead, NPCs are apparently going to visitRuneScape during the holidays and hand out a special item. These characters stay in RuneScape for a week or two and will freely hand out holiday items to any player that wants one.

Q: Why did Jagex stop doing those original drops on holidays?
A: Holiday drops were stopped after the "Halloween 2003 Debacle." A great deal of people complained about not getting a Halloween Scythe, and Jagex decided not to have another item drop after that.

Q: How do I get a Holiday Item?
A: In order to get a Holiday item, you need to trade from another player. All tradeable holiday items are quite expensive. Scythes and Bunny Ears are not tradeable, and only people who managed to find one on that specific Holiday have one.

Q: What were holiday drops like?
A: In past holidays, special holiday items would be dropped all over RuneScape in random places and different times during the day. Usually there would be several drops, and people would be running around trying to pick one up.

I'm sure Jagex will have their normal events on certain holidays such as Easter and Christmas " enjoy! " May be you can get some fun, exciting items from them.

How to make money on Runescape

I have read tons of articles, talks to hundreds of people, tried many different methods, all with one question. How do you make millions of gold on Runescape? Well, after a long while of digging through useless information, I actually stumbled upon real methods used by the pros! Yes, these methods can be done by ANYONE. There are not instant moneymaking methods, but these are very close. If you try your best, you are bound make millions of Runescape gold in a small amount of time! This I can promise.

Remember, all good things require effort. If I were you, I would pick a method that I enjoyed doing. My two favorite are Woodcutting and Fishing. In Fishing, you have a lot of friendly people that you can have a great time with. Woodcutting is not as friendly, but it is still fun. It is always nice to be around people and share the common goal. Then it's like you're in the club! Haha.

Easy cash can be gotten if you have about 50,000 gold already. Head over to Falador and buy all the lobsters at the price of 150 GP. Buy as many as you can, then go to the Varrok West Bank and sell these for max price. (You might also want to try the Grand Exchange - GE. I usually have more success in the GE than I do in the banks.) Although I have never tried this method, as it sounds a tad boring, people swear it works. They also say to buy a lot of silk from the silk trader in Al Kharid. Then, take the silk to Varrock and sell it in Varrock. I do not believe this is the key to millions, as they told me it is only about a 150-gp profit in 30 minutes, but again, if you like doing this, go for it.

How to Make Millions on Runescape 2

People like to buy Bow Strings as well, so you might want to pick a bunch of flax and then spin the flax into Bow Strings. You can get about 100 Gold for each Bow String. Of course, this is a Pay to Play Member's method only. Although this can take awhile to make a lot of money doing, as most methods, if you just work hard you will succeed.

How to Make Millions on Runescape 3

One of my personal favorites is fishing. I would not recommend cooking your fish, as most of the buyers will buy them raw. I suggest this for Pay to Play as well, because you can fish in Catherby and bank in Catherby. There is no back and fourth from Falador to Karamja. (In addition, it is 30 coins back and fourth for the boat ride! That can be VERY costly!) I spent about a week just fishing. I was determined to get level 50, and sure enough, I did. After I was done, the surplus of fish I had stored up gave quite the profit. Lobsters and Swordfish can be EXCELLENT money makers. If you want to make a bunch of money really fast, fish. This is one of the reasons I do not think that the buy and sell method is good, you only make 150 gp in 30 minutes doing that, but when your fishing you can make about 28,000 in 30 minutes fishing! (Maybe more, according to how fast you catch the fish.)

If you are going to wood cut, the main tree to chop is Yew. Anything before Yew is not a very good money maker; Willows are OK, but nothing big. Anything after Yew is excellent money. Willows as I said are ok, defiantly cut them if you can't cut yews, but as soon as you can cut yews, do it. There is a GREAT difference in the money. Remember, though, that it is also a great difference in the time spent chopping, especially after the first few levels. Most people wait another 10 levels before they chop yews. It is up to the chopper, I suppose.

How to Make Millions on Runescape 4

Most Runescape Tips are not really tips, but rather common knowledge that is repeated over and over. This is useless when you are actually searching for ways to make millions, gain levels, get items, and so on. As I said, I have read many articles, talked to many people, and the like. A lot of what I "learned" was basic information, but with it I could build my own hybrid of methods. Anyone can make their own methods, but it is making the methods work that is hard. Is there a best way of making Runescape millions? I do not believe so, but rather the best for that person. If you do not like the way you are making money, then you will get bored, take more breaks, then eventually stop all together. This is not good when you are trying to make millions of Runescape gold. So pick ones that you will like to do, experiment with different methods and pick the one that you enjoy.

This does not mean you can not take breaks while money making, it just means that you do not want to become bored. You may also want to have a couple different methods and switch them up from time to time. One day you could fish, the next wood cut, the next mine, although this would require a lot more effort because of the levels, if you truly want to do this then it is worth it. The best way to make millions on Runescape, or achieve anything on Runescape, is to just keep at it.

Set small goals to reach your one big goal. Do things to keep your mission exiting. The worse thing that can happen is to become bored. Once you become bored, it will be harder and harder to achieve that goal, and the harder it gets, the more you will want to quit. So yes, taking breaks is a good thing in this matter. Perhaps you could reward yourself every now and then. Let's say, every 1000 ore, you could take a break and have some fun. Something along that line, but this method does not work for everyone, some people just get determined and work till it's done. It all matters on the person. Happy Playing!

Runescape Color Words

I am sure that all of us have been somewhere, when all of a sudden someone shouts out something in a different color. This can be very confusing if you do not know how to do it yourself. Well, I am here today to teach you how to make colored words in Runescape.

It really is not that hard. They are very simple and easy commands that are so short you probably will never forget them. Before I get into all of the different commands, let me first tell you how to enter them. It must always go as followed:

Color Words in Runescape

Color:Movement:Message.

If you do it any other way, it will not work. Also, make sure there are no spaces in between your commands. Otherwise, it will not work. Other than that, it is very simple. Since colors come first, lets start with them.

There are six main colors that you can choose from, and they are:

(Default color) Yellow:
Red:
Green:
Cyan:
Purple:
White:

Color Words in Runescape

Runescape Color Text

If you were to take any of these and put it before your message, they would turn it that color, such as if I was to type -
red: Selling Cut Ruby!

The message would be red, and would say "Selling Cut Ruby!" There are 6 other color effects as well. They do various color changes in one message. These are:

Flash1: Flashes between red and yellow
Flash2: Flashes between cyan and blue
Flash3: Flashes between light and dark green
Glow1: Message fades from red, to orange, to yellow, to green, to cyan
Glow2: Message fades from red, to magenta, to blue, to dark red, to red
Glow3: Message fades from white, to green, to white, to cyan

Other Runescape Color Words

These effects can be great to catch someone’s eye when selling an item. Along withthese effects, you also have movement commands you can use. They are:

Scroll: Message scrolls from right to left.
Shake: Message shakes bizarrely.
Wave: Message moves up and down.
Wave2: Message waves diagonally.
Slide: Message slides from up to down.

Color Words in Runescape

A combination of both the movements and the colors can make a really interesting message, if I was to type glow2:wave2:Hey everyone, look at my cool message!

Then the message would wave diagonally, along with fade colors from red, to magenta, to blue, to dark red, and then to red. These codes can make all the more difference if you are trying to sell things in a very crowded place. Although the Grand Exchangehas cleared out a lot of the crowded banks that does not mean that there are still not places where people go to sell things. Therefore, if you are one of those that still stand in crowded areas trying to sell your items, these commands can help you greatly. For the most part, these commands are only used for fun now though. The Grand Exchanges lets buyers have their items a lot faster without having to bank hop, world hop, and haggle with other players. It makes buying and selling much easier and faster.

A lot of times people fishing at Catherby will use these commands to make fish scroll across the screen. They do this by typing "flash2:scroll:<>< <>< <><" and this will make a line of fish appear and disappear. It keeps things fun, and as we all know, when you are hording, it can get boring.

Happy and colorful playing!
